Schuyler Girion is an actor and community arts advocate from Los Angeles, CA.
She is a graduate of UC Berkeley and has trained at the American Conservatory Theatre and the Lee Strasberg Institute.
While at Berkeley she was a founding member of the New Play Practicum, a student run developmental readings and workshops series. During this time she performed in new plays by Joyce Carol Oates, Philip Kan Gotanda, Cleavon Smith and Julia Jarcho, among others.
She served as Community Impact Coordinator for Public Works’ (The Public Theatre) production of ‘As You Like It’ directed by Laurie Woolery, and has taught theatre curriculum in conjunction with the 'Center for Family Life' (Sunset Park), 'The Unusual Suspects' (San Fernando Valley) as well as at Marlborough School (Los Angeles).
Schuyler is currently a resident artist with The Vagrancy and an alumna of the Wallis Studio Ensemble (Annenberg Center for Performing Arts) where she wrote for and performed in ‘S.O.S’ an original multi-media physical theatre work about love and resilience in times of crisis.
